Don Bohn is currently Vice President of U.S. Government Affairs, Johnson & Johnson Corporate Staff. In this capacity, Don heads Johnson & Johnson’s U.S. Government Affairs (USGA) organization. USGA has responsibility for coordinating Federal and State government issues for the corporation, advocating positions before Congress, state legislatures, and the Executive branch of government related to the company’s pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer businesses. The group also works with J&J associates to engage in the political process in the U.S. through grass roots and grass tops initiatives and the employee political action committee.   Additionally, USGA focuses on strategically partnering with Johnson & Johnson’s operating businesses on issues relating to government coverage and reimbursement for new and existing J&J products and technologies. 
 
Previously, Don held the position of Vice President, State Government Affairs, where he was responsible for directing Johnson & Johnson’s advocacy efforts in state capitals across the country. Prior to this assignment, Don worked for more than four years in Johnson & Johnson’s Federal Affairs office in Washington DC, as Executive Director, Federal Affairs and Reimbursement. His primary responsibilities included advocating the company’s positions before Congress and federal regulatory agencies, placing a strong focus on gaining appropriate Medicare reimbursement for new Johnson & Johnson medical technologies. While in this role, Don served as Chairman for AdvaMed’s Payment Policy Committee and was selected to AdvaMed’s Industry Achievers Group. 
 
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson’s Federal Affairs team in 1998, Don spent three years as a Region Director, State Government Affairs. In this capacity, Don had direct lobbying responsibility in three states, and directed state government affairs activities in the eastern half of the country.
 
Don has spent over thirty years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, the last twenty-six years of which have been in a Government Affairs capacity. Beginning in 1977 as a sales representative in Du Pont’s pharmaceutical division, he held several sales and marketing positions with Du Pont, prior to joining the company’s government affairs department. Don began his career with Johnson & Johnson in 1988, when he joined Ortho Pharmaceutical as a State Government Affairs Manager.
