Clark A. Marcus, is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Advanzeon Solutions, Inc. and its subsidiary, Pharmacy Value Management Solutions, Inc. (PVMS), located in Tampa, Florida.  

 

From September 1993 until October 2008, Marcus served as Chairman of the Board of The Amacore Group, Inc. and he formerly served as Amacore’s Chief Executive Officer and President. In September 2008, Clark, along with others, formed Core Corporate Consulting Group, Inc. (CCCG), which focused on the development of healthcare programs for ultimate introduction into the managed care and non-managed care market segments of healthcare.  In January 2009, Advanzeon Solutions acquired 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of CCCG, and in May 2009, Marcus joined Advanzeon Solutions as its Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. In this position, he was instrumental in doubling Advanzeon Solutions’ revenue from approximately $14 million to approximately $30 million in a twelve-month period followed by additional annual increases to approximately $71 million in 2011 and $69 million in 2012. He was also credited with increasing the company’s financial position from non-profitability to profitability, and starting in 2012, he led Advanzeon Solutions’ expansion into the areas of pharmacy management savings and sleep apnea screening, diagnosis and treatment. Over the past two years, under Marcus’s guidance, PVMS developed SleepMaster Solutions™, the nation’s first (and largest) complete sleep apnea program featuring a “blue ribbon” Medical Advisory Board of national and international medical leaders in PVMS’ portfolio of accounts; a medical diagnostic process for identifying drivers with mild to severe sleep apnea and a complete sleep apnea treatment program compliant with federal regulations.

 

Marcus also serves on the Corporate Leadership Advisory Council to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Corporate Advisory Council; participated as guest lecturer at various national health care conferences and has authored numerous health care related articles published in various national health care publications such as “Managed Care Weekly” and Managing Employee Health Benefits.” Marcus has been a practicing attorney since 1968 and was a Partner in the New York law firms of Victor & Marcus and Marcus & Marcus. In his general practice, Marcus represented clients engaged in a number of corporate financing and international transactions and investment ventures.
